About

I build things, break them, and learn from both.

Muhammed Basheer

Hi, I'm Muhammed Basheer, a maker from Kozhikode, Kerala. I work where hardware meets software, building things that live in the real world: IoT devices, robots, tools and interactive installations.

My background spans embedded systems, web development and physical computing. If I can prototype it on a breadboard or ship it as code, I'm happy. Turning an idea into a real, working thing is what keeps me going.

The best way to understand something is to build it wrong first.

Alongside building, I run hands-on workshops. I design sessions and curricula that get students working with electronics and programming with their own hands. Watching someone make something work for the first time is one of my favourite things.

I share what I build on Instructables and GitHub, and write about every session in the journal.
